Referred to as the Tri-Lakes area by locals, this area is located to the north on the border between El Paso County and Douglas County. The community is comprised of three main areas: Woodmoor (a covenant-controlled community), Monument, and Palmer Lake.
Homes located to the east of I-25 are primarily custom homes on acreage properties.
Adjacent to Tri-Lakes is Jackson Creek, a single-family home community, and is located south of Hwy. 105 and east of I-25.
Historic Monument, home to an ecclectic collection of single family homes and small town Monument, is located just west of I-25 and Hwy. 105. The community is one of Colorado's original towns and full of small-time flair.
Palmer Lake, located further west and nestled against the foothills, is a quaint and charming community full of small boutiques, ecclectic restaurants, and some of the finest custom homes in the area.
The Tri-Lakes area is serviced by award-winning Lewis Palmer D38 schools.
